A nice hand-painted wooden sign that once belonged to the Duchess Theatre in London's West End, spending many decades as a warning to the actors in the backstage area, this is lovely piece of history. Made from a stage prop for 'The Garter Inn', which could have possibly appeared in the Shakespeare Play 'The Merry Wives of Windsor'.
