We seldomly use the word rare, but this is an unusual Mekelite lamp. Known for their British racing green, greys and beiges, we've never come across an original black version. The arms have a base coat of green with a black factory finish and black vitreous enamel shade, which denotes this was a custom made lamp by Mek-Elek.
This wall-mounted two-arm version with pivoting head is an icon of industrial lighting design, made of aluminium and steel.
This lamp has been tested and rewired to the terminal block ready for installation by an electrician. Some signs of age related wear, but overall in good condition (please see images). P&P is included in the price.
